To avoid disappointment it would be very helpful if you want to attend any event where it involves booking moorings etc if you could please confirm you are coming in good time. 

Also if you have an idea for an event – or for example  a warp practice day etc please do speak up – we have a lot of experience of various things like boat handling / navigation / radio operation / electrics etc and I am sure we can all work together to put something together.

It would also be great to be able to repeat some of those great events we have had in previous years that we have not run for some time – so again please don’t be shy.

Charly has agreed (no pressure I promise) to host this even on the basis that I am allowed to include the Gay Two Up Game!!!!

It will include boules and a few other imaginative games with the scores being tallied and the winner being announced and the stupendous prizes being awarded with huge cheers!!! And probably a few flames from the BBQ’s and maybe a few little mystery drinks!!!

BBQ in the Marina and evening cruise, (or walk) to Sunbury Fireworks. Bring friends, BBQ’s, food and drink. Help will be on hand for night locking on return to the Marina and I am sure if we have enough interest I am sure we can arrange some assistance with anchoring at the event. We are due some good weather for sure this year as the last few years it’s been terrible.

Last years champions Alan & Rina from Merifinn will be running the River Quiz. We normally have the quiz sheets ready for you to collect from 10am and if you can aim to be back in the marina by 3pm where we will all laugh at Mick’s answers and enjoy a BBQ and the results.
